Portable endless-chain push-plate and trough conveyers.-A conveyer of the push-plate type is mounted on wheels 16 and is capable of moving in a vertical plane about the pin 19 and in a horizontal plane about the pin 17. The chains 2 pass over end sprockets 6, 7, the sprockets 6 being driven by hand. The bearings of the spindle 9 may be adjusted by screws so as to vary the distance of the propellers 3 from the bottom of the trough. and the tension of the chains 2 is adjusted by screws which move the bearings of the spindle of sprockets 6 in their slots. A pulley is provided to impart a drive to a sorting- machine.
