8807. Ducart, G. April 8. Handles for cooking-vessels &c., comprising a metal tang surrounded with a layer of non- conducting material, are provided with end caps d, e on the tang. The process of moulding consists in placing the tang with the caps attached in a two-part mould f, g containing the plastic material, and in forcing these parts f, g together by means of a compression block h. The cement used may have fibrous material intermingled with it, and may consist of " stone wood " or Sorel cement. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 4531/93, and 10,013/97.
