Cleaning internally, non-rotary appliances for. -The segments of a brush or pad of the kind described in Specification 8648/96 are mounted on the resilient arms b by means of a boss on the segment, which enters a hole in the arm b and is retained therein by a washer e<2> and screw e<3>. The ends c together are conical or paraboloidal, and are provided with ribs f, f<1> which may act as scrapers. A number of the devices may be flexibly linked together.
