6479. Starley, W. March 15. Wind guards. - Wind - screens for motorvehicles are hinged to the dash-board, or to another section, by means of a bar or tube 4 let into the lower frame member 7 of the screen and passing through disks 8 adapted to turn in sockets 5 secured to the dash-boards 3. The bar 4 is preferably arranged eccentrically in the disks 8 to enable the lower edge of the screen to clear the edge of the dash-board. One of the hinges is provided with locking-means operated by the hand-lever 14.
