Rumbles, tumbling - barrels, and the like. - A device for continually rolling about a number of articles for g a lvanizing, or for removing f a t therefrom electrically, or for cleansing by means of a sand-blast, consists of an endless band guided over two or more rollers in such a manner that its upper surface forms a tray for the reception of the articles. The band e, which may be formed like a venetian blind, passes over rollers a, b, c and is guided along its upper stretch by grooved guides or circular plates n to form a tray, of which the plates n may form the sides. The frame x carrying the rollers b, c is pivoted on the spindle of roller a, and the structure may be tilted about the spindle a by means of rope q to raise the tray out of the electrolytic bath and discharge its contents upon a sieve r. When the device is used for tumbling articles in the presence of a sand-blast, the endless band is made of spaced iron bars.
