4141. Bates, E. C. Feb. 18. Joints.-A joint for securing together separable parts of bedstead frames, such as an angle-bar and corner-block, comprises a rotatable bolt a having a T-head m at one end and at the other a head d formed with a helical surface e adapted to act against a corresponding helical surface f on a boss b forming a seating for the bolt. The bolt head m is adapted to lie in a recess l while the angle-iron is being placed in position, and the bolt then being raised and rotated, the parts are drawn together. Additional securing-means may be provided by a projection j on the corner-block entering a recess in the angle-iron.
