Jigging conveyers.-Reciprocating conveyers or screens having a rising advance and falling return movement are provided with hinged delivery plates for transferring material from one conveyer to another or between two sections of the same conveyer. Fig. 1 shows the application to two sections of a conveyer. The plate L is hinged to one section and slides on the other. Rollers or sliding blocks may be fitted to the free end to reduce friction. Arrangements are shown in which one conveyer delivers to another at right-angles, and in which a double-decked conveyer delivers to a parallel conveyer at a lower level.
