Abstract

101. Farr, W. Jan. 3. Plant protectors.-An appliance for protecting and shading blooms comprises a pointed square stake A, an adjustable double-jointed arm B, and an adjustable conical shade C. The arm B is adjustably secured on the stake A by means of a socket E and a removable spring H. It has two stiff joints so that it can be adjusted horizontally about a rivet N and vertically about a rivet N'. At the ends of the rivets are disks or washers K, K'. The shade C is suspended from a socket P adjustably secured on the arm B by a removable spring R.
