Atmospheric spray burners.-Relates to a vapour burner employed in a furnace of the kind described in Specification 21,125/06, [Class 51, Furnaces &c.], for heating bolts, rivets, tubes, plates, &c. Oil from a tank e passes to a cylindrical mixing and vaporizing tube j, which is provided with an air inlet pipe s and is connected by a link m with a removable bend l having a tapered internal passage. The tube is heated by the gases passing from the furnace chamber b, partly through openings g, and partly through openings k, controlled by sliding dampers o.
