Abstract
27,020. Johnson, H. E. W. Nov. 21. Bronzing and the like.-Relates to artificial metal leaf which can be made of any desired thickness, and which is sufficiently flexible and tenacious for embossing in high relief. The bronze powder is mixed with collodion or other medium, and the mixture sprayed to the required thickness on to the surface of glass, metal, paper, &c., which may be either smooth or rough. As soon as the layer is dry, the glass, &c., is placed in water to detach the foil.
