Abstract

1626. Muirhead, A., and Muirhead & Co. Jan. 20. Condensers are formed with two different dielectric materials with temperature coefficients of opposite sign. In paraffin-paper condensers, the metal sheets or the paraffin papers are coated with shellac to which resin may be added. Suitable proportions are 11 parts of paraffin wax to 1 part of resin. The metal sheets may also be dipped in a bath of paraffin wax after being coated with shellac. Specification 25,103/09 is referred to.
