Couplings. - In a connector or coupling for electric cables, the end of each cable to be connected is inserted in a bush e having oppositelydisposed coned or tapered portions f, g and slit along one side; at the diametrically opposite side it is slotted to facilitate its closing on to the cable. Each bush fits in the coned end c of a tubular member a, and is closed on to the cable by a nut b screwing on the member a and reversely coned at d to the part c. In the Provisional Specification, it is stated that the exterior of the nut and tubular member may be made with an insulating-covering, and that the coupling may also be used to connect cables to lugged terminals.
