Axial-flow type; balancing moving parts.- The intermediate and low-pressure stages of a turbine are formed as a combined turbine of the type described in Specification 2295/10, and the high-pressure stage comprises one or more impulse stages. The intermediate and lowpressure portions may be divided into two equal parts, placed one on each side of the impulse section, the working-fluid passing through them in oppositedirections. Packing and balancing are thereby facilitated.
