22,727. Bain, W. P. C. Oct. 1. Wire fencing, securing to standards; droppers -Relates to means for securing droppers to wire fences, or the wires themselves to the supports. Fastening hooks or members f resembling staples, of the forms shown in Figs. 3 and 7, are passed through slots e in the central web b of a corrugated dropper, the hooked ends f' embracing the fence wire g, and a wedge h is driven through the eye f<2> of the fastening to secure it in place. The same method may be employed for securing the wires to posts, which may have long and short flanges c, d, Fig. 5, or may be of H-section, Fig. 9.
