Moulding pipes and tubes; processes.-In the manufacture of tubular concrete sections for building chimneys, particles of hard - burned bricks and chamotte, about 3 or 4 millimetres in diameter, are added to the cement or concrete. Suitable moulds are filled with this mixture, which is moistened, and the moulds are shaken vertically in order to make the mixture homogeneous.
