22,114. Palmedo, D. Petri-. Sept. 24, 1909, [Convention date]. Moulds for type-bar making machines. Relates to moulds for the production of hollow type-bars of the form shown in Fig. 8. The mould consists of four members b<1>, b<2>, b<3>, b<4> mounted in a recess in a carrier A. One or more cores D are arranged to project into the mouldslot b from the rear side. Each core has a laterally - projecting piece d', which fits in recesses in the bottom mould member and in the mould-carrier, and is secured to the carrier by a screw d' so that the rear face of the core is flush with the rear face of the mould.
