Abstract

20,133. Savelsberg, J. Feb. 24, [Convention date]. Agglomerating processes.-In the process of agglomerating fine ores and residues by mixing with fuel, and igniting in a blowing-apparatus, a concentrated solution of iron sulphate is used to moisten the mixture. Solutions of other salts, such as alkali and alkaline-earth sulphates, and chlorides, may be used, or the solution may be formed within the mass itself by adding an acid.
