Invalids' bedsteads.-A bedstead adapted to allow the examination of a patient, or a change of bedlinen, comprises a rectangular frame mounted in a frame a so that it may be rotated by a worm engaging a spur-wheel f. The bed-frame comprises end pieces c secured to the pivots d, and side pieces k, one of which is shown as fixed to the end pieces and the other as hinged to the bottom by hinges m. The bottom is hinged to a continuation o of the fixed side k, and is secured as well as the hinged side k by means of catches p. Both sides k may be hinged if desired.
