Abstract
19,559. Froehlich, D. Jan. 30, [date applied for under Patents Act, 1901]. Bedsteads, couches, &c.-A bedstead, couch, or the like comprises a main frame a', a<3>, a', to which is pivoted at c<5> a supplemental bedstead or crib frame c, folding within the main frame, the top b being hinged at a<6> for the purpose. The two frames are provided with spring surfaces b<5>, c<7> and castors, and the opposite ends of each frame are connected by rods b<4>, c<3>, c<6>. The interior may be used as a receptacle for bedding or other articles, and railings may be provided round the top of the frames.
