Supporting.-An electric-lamp holder for detachably connecting incandescent lamps tc furniture or the like consists of a pair of integrally - united jaws 2, 3, of a width in excess of the distance between the jaws, and having a tongue-piece 5 integral therewith and extending outwardly from the heel of one of the jaws, the jaws preferably having an inner lining 4 of cloth or the like. The tongue-piece 5 carries the lamp 6, and its outer extremity is in the general plane of the jaw 3, a perforation 12 at the end of the tongue enabling it to engage with a hook, or be secured by a screw. The holder is preferably formed by dividing one portion of a metal, fibre, or other blank longitudinally into three parts, the two side parts being bent to form one of the jaws 3, and the central part to form the tongue-piece.
