Folding and collapsible seats.- Deck chairs are so constructed that they may be taken to pieces and tied in a bundle with straps instead of being folded in the usual way. The ends of the legs 7 and struts 15 are forked as shown in Fig. 5 to receive the tapered cutaway portions 13, Fig. 3, of the cross- Lars 11. The chair is taken to pieces by removing the bars 11.
