Carburetting. -A carburettor comprises a casing containing a series of gauze diaphragms, between which a number of fans or propellers are caused to revolve. Air is driven by a blower through a branch F into the casing A, and petrol is supplied to a distributor E which conveys it to the first of a series of gauze diaphragms U fixed to the casing A. The mixture passes through the series of diaphragms, and is acted on by fans C, which may be perforated and are mounted on a shaft D connected with the blower. The mixture passes out at G.
