4618. Weatherburn, J. T. Feb. 24. Knives, cleaning. - Knife-cleaning machines of the worm-driven type are fitted with the particular arrangement and construction of driving-gear shown and described. Bearings E, G carry the worm and worm-wheel shafts respectively, and the worm shaft is provided with fast and loose belt pulleys and a fly-wheel I which may be used as a brake. A suitable belt-shifting arrangement is also used.
