Abstract
1693. Praag, D. J. van. Jan. 22. Drip-feed apparatus.-Corrosion of the needle-valve of a drip-feed generator by time dust or acetylene is prevented by placing the discharge end of the valve under water. The needle-valve D opens into a chamber B above or at the side of the carbide chamber, water being led from this chamber on to the carbide through a tube E of comparatively large diameter.
