Abstract

190,957. Jensen, C. C. March 21,1922. Pins, dowel and like.-A dowel of the type having parallel flanges 13 along its longitudinal edges is provided with converging depressions 15 on each side of the web and shoulders 16 which coact with the Ranges to draw sections of wood together when the dowel is driven home. The flanges 13 are bevelled along their free edges to prevent splitting the wood. The web is provided' with central ribs 18 to eerve as guiding means. on which an arrow head 20 is formed to indicatethe direction for driving.
