Clock framework.-In clocks the movement is secured to and spaced from the front of the, case by means which are fixed in position from the outside of the case. The apertures in the front of the case through which the. securing means pass as well as those which accommodate the arbor &c. are made in the front of the case preferably with the aid of a templet. Fig. 3 shows the, front plate 9 of the movement provided with bushes 10 into which the screws 12 from the outside of the case pass and engage. In a modification studs &c. may be attached to the front plate of the movement and pass. through holes in the front of the case and secured from the outside. The ends of these studs may be hidden by or pass through the dial plate 7.
