23,819. Bell, G. G., and Pletts, J. St. V. Oct. 18. Resistance ovens. -A cooking-oven has a vent pipe p connecting one or more cooking- utensils o with the atmosphere. It may be provided with a stop-cock. The vent pipe may be fixed, as shown, to a lid or cover l, or it may be fixed in the removable upper part of the oven so that it can be lowered on to an aperture in the lid. The oven may be a bell-shaped or hollow cylindrical vessel, consisting of two walls a, a<1>, the space between which is filled with heat-insulating material. The base of the oven is formed by a disk. The oven is heated by a resistance h. Several vessels connected with each other as described in Specification 19,665/08 may be used.
