Fire resisting doors. -Metal sheets separated by layers of asbestos &c., have plain or ornamented outer sheets a and two inner sheets c, d of corrugated metal, the corrugations of one sheet being arranged at rightangles to those of the other sheet. Fig. 4 shows a panelled door, in which the thicker portions are formed with two sheets c of corrugated metal placed one on each side of the central corrugated sheet d.
