Abstract

20,367. Gillham, W. Sept. 6. Supporting.-A clamp, for attaching an electric lamp temporarily to a support, and for other uses, comprises a pair of jaws 1, 2, which have parallel portions a, b, e and inclined parts c, d designed to grip variously-shaped supports. The jaw 1 is fixed to the bar 3, a bracket 8 on which carries the screw 7, which moves the jaw 2, this latter having a shoe 5 sliding in a recess 4 in the bar 3. The lamp &c. is secured to an angular adjustment device 9, also attached to the bar 3.
