Air tubes and chambers.- Relates to airtubes of pneumatic tyres of the kind that are reinforced by one or more layers a, a<1> of canvas or other fabric, leaving a circumferential strip b of rubber not t reinforced. According to the present invention, the rubber at or near the edges of the strips is made thicker than usual, as at c, c<1>, and the intervening circumferential strip consists of rubber only, as thin as is consistent with the necessary strength.
