Abstract
10,194. Leeming, J. A. April 29. Screw motors.- A wind-wheel is carried by a framework which is provided with a tail for keeping the wheel in the wind, and the framework is rotatably mounted in bearings arranged beneath the wheel, so that guy-ropes passing to the top of the wheel are avoided. The wind-wheel A is centrally hung in bearings C in a frame B, which is supported by a roller footstep bearing E, and by a roller bearing in a ring .F. The ring F is supported by guyropes H, or by a built up tower, or by a combination of guy-ropes and tower. A ball-andsocket connexion J, K, is arranged between the roller bearing E and the mast B
