Abstract

9760. Muir, J. M., and Chamen, C. H. K. April 24. Electric-lamp lanterns.-In the type of lamp described in Specification 2103/08, the reflector F is at the lowest level of the metal fittings of the lamps, to prevent shadows being thrown by such fittings, and the lamp sockets are carried by a plate B above the reflector. The holes G in the reflector may be large enough to leave an annular opening round each lamp bulb for ventilation, or separate ventilation holes may be provided. The reflector may be supported from the disk B by pins J, Fig. 1, or supported by an upturned flange L, Fig. 2.
