April 5, Lathing.-Lathing of-the type consisting of twoseries of wires a, b laid across each other with pieces of fire-clay c at the crossing-points, is provided in the spaces between the pieces c with a filling of fire-clay or fire-proof cement. The wires are galvanized, and the pieces c may consist of fire-proof cement. The lathing is adapted for covering metal girders and columns.
An industrial result consisting of the application of iron shavings to the manufacture of tiles, slabs, and any other articles or works made of cement and other similar or similar materials.
