7283. Jeffs, C. Aug. 23. Air tubes and chambers.-A pneumatic tyre for motor vehicles, cycles, &c., comprise airtube sections A, each enclosed in a rubberized canvas or like covering L having an opening at the base fitted with a wire or like ring N. The sections A are spaced by flaps J formed on the inner lining K of the outer cover. The sections are introduced through openings C in the rim which may be closed by sliding plates E, Fig. 1, divided plates E<1>, E<2> and a locking - collar S, Fig. 4, or by ordinary screw caps b, Fig. 6. Fig. 6 shows an arrangement in which an auxiliary tyre P<1> is fitted alongside the main tyre P.
