Sinuous-tube superheaters; dampers for controlling superheaters.-Superheating-tubes i are arranged in a chamber formed in a boiler smoke-box a between a tube b and side plates which are tangential to the tube b and support it in the smoke-box. The boiler and smoke-box are separated by a space, and are connected by the tube b. A damper h controlled by a screw and hand-wheel j controls the flow of gases, either through the superheating - chamber, or direct to the smoke-box.
