5959. Gibbs, F. I. Feb. 27, 1908. Drinking-vessels; jugs. - Articles having projecting spouts, legs, &c. are formed by electro -deposition on a suitable non- porous non-metallic model, which may be of glass or pottery, the metal being electro-deposited over the whole prepared surface and the body of the model being then broken away or removed leaving the projecting parts E of the model in the metal article. The rough ends 2, 3 of these parts E are ground down and prepared to receive a metal coat 5 by electro-deposition; or they may be covered by metal blanks 16, Fig. 5.
