Locking nuts.-A washer for locking a nut 12 having a countersunk seat 14 is made in the form of a helical ring 15, of triangular cross-section, with its ends 17, 18 cut off at an angle, the inner edge 19 of the edge 17 being turned inwards to engage the bolt, the outer edge 24 of the end 18 being turned upwards and outwards to grip the nut.
