Pads &c.-A pad or rubber for cleaning metal, glass marble, &c. comprises two pieces of cloth which may be made porous by a series of punctures, and are secured round their edges by sewing, pasting, &c. and enclose a porous bag containing dry polishing-powder. The pad may be made so as to be readily opened, and the back may be of chamoisleather or other polishing-material ; or the pad may be made in one piece.
