Block tyres; detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-Single or multiple tyres, continuous or sectional, are vulcanized to the plain outer periphery of one or more corresponding metal bands which are coned to engage the coned binding-tyre on the felloe. In the form shown in Fig. 1, the twin tyres D, D', vulcanized to carriers C, C<1>, are forced over the coned ring B up to a central ring B<1>, and are secured by bolts E passing through lugs on the rings C, C<1>. To increase adhesion, the carriers may be perforated to receive the material of the tyres.
