On the plate A are fixed two bars E, F sliding in guides G and carrying parallel projecting bars J, K respectively, which are faced with rubber or felt and envelop the stylus-bar. The bars E, F are connected by a link H pivoted at I to the plate A. A wire mechanism O attached to the bar E is adapted to move the parallel bars J, K towards, or away from, the stylus-bar.
