Abstract
20,320. Favell, A. L. Sept. 28. Easels.-A combination folding desk, drawing- table, easel, &c. comprises two standard frames A, B, hinged together at the top and braced by a shelf D, which is hinged at one side to the frame A and provided at the other with pins F sliding in slots G formed in metal racks H. In the frame B slides a frame K, which is supported at the desired height by pawls S engaging the racks H. The board J is hinged to the upper end of the frame K and is supported at the desired inclination by a frame M hinged to the frame K and abutting against stops 0 on the lower face of the board. When the device is used as an easel, the board rests against the frame K.
