Abstract

19,847. Gl³hlampenwerk Anker Ges. Oct. 3, 1907, [date applied for under Section 91 of Patents &c. Act, 1907]. Phosphoretted hydrogen; arsenuretted hydrogen. -These gases are introduced into an exhausted electric lamp by placing materials which will generate them on the leading-in wires or in the tube through which the lamp is exhausted. It is stated that for obtaining phosphoretted hydrogen a mixture may be used consisting of either one part by weight of phosphorus and two parts of. phospham, or of one part of phosphorus, one part of solid phosphorus hydride (P4H2), and one part of phospham. For obtaining arsenuretted hydrogen in a mixture of two parts of solid arsenic hydride (As2H2) and one part of phospham may be used. The Specification in the original form, as open to inspection under Section 91 (3) (a), comprises also the use of "phosphonium hydroxide" in lamps. This subject-matter does not appear in the Complete Specification as accepted.
