Filing papers &c.- The sections 2 of the expansible post 1 of a loose - leaf binder are provided with male locking-members 3 having one or more wings 4, and with female locking- members consisting of an opening 5 having a recess 8 and one or more radial openings 6 similar in shape to the wings 4. The opening 5 is eccentrically situated with regard to the walls 7 of the recess 8, so that the sections bind together upon partial rotation. Disks, either integral with the sections 2 or provided with locking-members similar to the sections, may be provided to facilitate removal of a mass of sheets when it is desired to add or remove a sheet; the disks preferably carry index letters.
