Spring-strip fastenings.-In fastenings for skirts, blouses, &c. two flexible strips D, D', riveted together along one edge, are secured to one side of the opening and adapted to receive between them another strip, E, attached to the other side. The end e' of the strip E, which extends below the material, is inserted through a sleeve d<3> into a side d<1>, which forms an extension of the strip D and serves to draw the strips into engagement. End fasteners on the strips, such as a stud and notch, may be provided to prevent disengagement. The strips D, D<1> and E are secured to strips C, C', respectively, which are stitched to the turned-over edges of the material.
