Projections e on the underside of the part d engage notches j formed in the peripheral portions of a detachable flange b, which either has lugs i mounted on it or is in the form of a continuous flanged ring i<1>, Fig. 6. A flange g on one side of the felloe is secured by means of bolts or screws h with cylindrical heads, and is adapted to engage the flange a of the detachable rim. The notches j in the lugs i or the detachable rim i<1> comprise narrow openings in the edges and a slot large enough to receive a projection e and the head of a screw h, so that a bayonet-joint of known type is formed. A ring k of india-rubber or other elastic material may fill the space between the flanges a, b.
