Abstract
12,174. Lake, H. W., [Schuhfabrik Bonndorf Geb. Kriechle]. June 4. Drawings to Specification. Celluloid.-A leather substitute is made by drawing a fabric several times through a thick celluloid solution, and pressing each time between rollers so as to force the celluloid into the fabric. By this treatment the fabric becomes completely imbedded in celluloid, the two layers of the latter on the outside of the fabric being bound together by the celluloid intermixed with the fibres of the fabric.
