4078. Piercey, W. Feb. 24. Sack-holders. - An upright 2 is bolted to a base 1, a slot being formed at 5 for the bolt so that it need only be slackened to remove the upright. A bracket 8 is bolted to the upright, the bolt being adjustable in a vertical slot in the upright, and supports an open spring ring 9 which is preferably conical in form, as shown, but may be circumferentially corrugated. The ring may be attached to the bracket by means of the clamping-nut, and the upright may be attached by any suitable clamp to a scale-pan. Clips may be used to attach the sack to the ring.
