Curtains, suspending.- A curtain ring, formed preferably from hardened brass wire, is at one extremity bent backwards in the form of a semicircle a<2> and pointed at a<1>, and at the other extremity is bent downwards and circularly, so as to form a loop a<3> the plane of which is at right-angles to the plane of the ring. The point a<1> and the loop a<3> are disengaged by applying pressure at X, Y, and when the pressure is released are caused by the spring of the metal to grip a curtain placed between them, the point a' entering the fabric and the loop a<3>.
