The sink or other vessel is brought into use by turning the section c over upon the section b, in which position the end f of a wastepipe e fits into the end of the bath overflow h. The joint is made watertight by rubber packing. When the space is exceptionally limited, the middle ends of the sections are closed, and the section c is tilted only into a vertical position.
