Abstract
28,510. Rothemann, O. Dec. 27, 1906, [date applied for under Patents Act, 19011. Bleaching ; dyeing.-In bleaching or dyeing bobbins &c. of yarn mounted on vertical and superposed paper spools for circulation through the bobbins of the treating-liquid, in order to prevent the collapse of the spools under the softening action of the bath, the coupling - nipples in each plane are supported by a frame, the frames being kept apart and supported by distancepieces. Each frame consists of a series of concentric rings 7, coupled together by radial cross-bars 8. The coupling- nipples 5, connecting the perforated paper spools 3 of lower bobbins 4 with those of upper bobbins 4<1>, pass through equally-spaced holes in the rings of the intermediate frame and rest on the frame by means of flanges 6. The frame rests on the flanges 9 of distance-bolts 10 screwed into the bottom of the machine.
